Lawyer In Media PA

The law firm of Knight & Moskow, P.C. is dedicated to the practice of those areas of law related to family matters: Divorce, Child Custody and Support, Preparation of Pre- and Post-Nuptial Agreements, Adoptions, Adult and Minor Guardianships, Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts), and Probate of Decedent’s Estates.

We are proud of the services we provide to our clients. Unlike other areas of law, where the adversarial parties go their separate ways at the conclusion of the proceedings, the parties to a Family Law dispute often have children, siblings, and/or other family relationships in common, or have forged bonds with their respective extended families. Because of these connections, and the emotional and financial costs associated with litigation, we believe it is necessary to work very hard toward settlement, and will not advise litigation unless all other options have been exhausted.

Once it is clear that litigation is necessary, however, we aggressively pursue our client’s interests. We are effective in the courtroom because we are always prepared, have fully prepared our clients and their witnesses, and are well-versed in the pertinent law and its application to the facts before the Court. Because of these efforts, the majority of our new client referrals historically come from satisfied former clients.

Our fees are based upon the complexity of the matter and may be a flat fee, hourly rate, or a combination of the two. In Divorce, Custody or Support matters we charge a nominal flat fee for a preliminary consultation, and our hourly rates apply if we are retained for representation. In Adoption matters we charge a flat fee to finalize an adoption, and our hourly rates apply to termination of parental rights actions and Interstate Compact approval.

If you are seeking an experienced legal professional to help you resolve a difficult family matter, contact our office to arrange a consultation, either in person or by phone.

The law firm of Knight & Moskow, P.C. was founded in 2007 by Carlin Knight, Esquire and Jean Moskow, Esquire. Ms. Knight retired in 2009 after a long and distinguished legal career to pursue other interests, including performance of choral music, an interest Ms. Moskow shares with her.
